Nick is a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer and Chartered Accountant who seeks out best practice techniques and plays an active role in creating business success. Recent roles include: General Manager Finance - Raising capital and operating high value horticultural start-up. Chief Financial Officer - Kiwifruit orchard and post-harvest operation.
Finance and commercial roles in a range of industries (consumer goods, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, shipping, retail) and for varying sized businesses from start-ups and family businesses through to Heinz UK with >$2b in sales and Heinz Foodservice Europe.

Mike is driven by his desire to enable organisations and people to grow and develop, with a breadth of commercial experience from his finance, management and governance roles. He enjoys focusing on the rigour within a business in the context of its overall strategy, whilst also identifying, and then delivering on, business improvement opportunities.
A Chartered Accountant and Business Finance Professional (registered overseas with the ICAEW), Mike has experience of businesses from working in and with a variety of industry sectors in the UK and New Zealand, including a previous senior management role with KPMG and CFO of UBCO – the NZ electric utility bike pioneer. He is passionate about partnering with businesses on courageous pathways – whether they are expecting a period of significant growth or notable change.
Mike works proactively with business teams to enable them to deliver improvement and change whilst providing support across the business as a trusted sounding board.

“I had the opportunity to work with Nick when he stepped into the breach as acting CFO of Miro. This role required Nick to quickly come up to speed across the whole spectrum of Accounting and Finance responsibilities from diving deep into the accounts, to our control and accounting systems, through to Board Reporting of multiple projects and the company balance sheet, P&L, cashflow, liquidity and year end accounts. This was a massive job where Nick had to impose order and clarity quickly under significant pressure and from a less than ideal starting point.
